File versioning is a process of saving inspection files
with a incrementing vxxx added to the name of the file.
This version control is helpful when building large
inspection files where interim saving of tested steps is
desirable. |

File Version Saving |
|
File Version
Saving is a user demanded option through the
main drop-down menu, File.
File→Save
Version
File Version is available
after the inspection file has
been saved with a unique name. For example,
start building an inspection and save it under a
unique name:
yourfile.GMT.
Continue building your inspection and now
use the File Version command. Geomet will save
the inspection under the name:
yourfile v001.GMT
Each subsequent
File Version command will increment the "v001"
number, "v002", "v003" etc. |
