Definition |

By default, Geomet
sets the number of hits required for a
Qualification to 5. This may not be suitable for
your application if you are working with long
styli or critical dimensions.

Step 1 |
|
To change the default number
of hits for the current session of Geomet,
right-click on the Qualify dialog and a small
sub-menu appears.
Choose <Set Default Number of Points>.
Alternatively
you can left-click on the graphic of the stylus.

Step 2 |
|
Enter the number
of Points for your Qualification process. This
new value is written into the Geomet System
Options database and becomes the new default
value. |

Geomet System Options |
|
The default number
of Points required during the Qualificaton
process is maintained in the Geomet System
Options database. To change the default value,
launch the System Options:
Keyboard: <F9>
Menu: [System→System Options]
Filter the System Options display be typing
"Reference" in the Quck Search cell. Click on
the listing:
"Number of data points used during
calibration..."
Enter a new value in the pop-up tool. Press <Ok>
twice to save the chnages. |
